Recently a friend from school started a blog on her weight loss journey. She has inspired me to do the same. I am not going to give out all the info on my dimensions but I will give weight updates. I hope that anyone who follows this will help to keep me motivated and not put me down. My begining weight is 230lbs. I will update my weight as often as I can and list how I am doing on my exercise routine.
My routine will include taking my dog, LillyAnne for a walk at least once a day for 30min. and 2x a day doing dance workout on the wii.
I will also be cutting out a lot of the eating out. Only home cooked food for my kids and I.

Krista, I am SO excited for you to start this journey with me! I don't know how tall you are, but we are starting out around the same weight. Looks like you've got a good game plan for starting out. The Wii workouts are great because you can do them in the privacy of your own home. Walking the dog is great too because you can get some fresh air! Cooking at home is hard for me, but it's definitely a great way to get healthier foods in. My diet is very strict right now because I'm eliminating all yeast and sugar from my diet until I get rid of this candida infection. It's high protein, which is great when you're working out. I'm posting pics tomorrow and will post updated pics every week on Sunday. Good luck and I can't wait for us to start seeing some results!

ReplyDeleteOkay, so 5'7 and 230 is much better than 5'1 and 230! Wow, I would probably carry this weight so much better if I had a few more inches on me. Well my scale says I'm 221 and my Wii said I'm 227 so I will keep using both measures. I will weigh myself but I will weigh myself on the Wii to keep up with that, I have a baseline for each now. I posted my before pics and I put them side by side with a version that I marked up with Paint to show where I want to make changes. How are you doing so far? I think it's challenging because I want to eat junk and stuff, but I am noticing a slight increase in my energy already!
